Complicated and efficient

Over-engineered and missed the simple stuff, like a decent latch to keep the door locked. I bent the latch and broke the connected the first night. Al...More
Over-engineered and missed the simple stuff, like a decent latch to keep the door locked. I bent the latch and broke the connected the first night. Also concerned how long the 304 stainless will last under the crazy heat this puts out. I’d recommend placing a cast iron pan on it or something to help dissipate the heat.

Also would be nice if it was about 3” longer to fit generic wood from gas stations. Still, the area to load wood into is very large. Definitely a plus.

Also, wood burns through this very fast. Probably need experience with the air intake gap. Not sure this will last 6 hours even then. Probably more dependent on type of wood and moisture in the air than anything else, though.

No regrets, but this is a novelty. If you are looking for a simple tent stove without the heat output of this one, I’d take your money to something else. This is basically the max you should pay for a tent stove these days.

Again, happy I got it because it looks cool mostly.
