Introducing the Hori5 Ti: The Ultimate All-in-One Camping Stove
Experience the outdoors like never before with the Hori5 Ti, the first masterpiece of craftwork from GreenStove since 2020. This all-in-one camping stove elevates outdoor cooking and heating with its innovative pellet burning system, U-shaped firebox, and a built-in oven.
The Titanium Advantage: Lighter, Stronger, Built to Last
The Hori5 Ti inherits all the design advantages of its predecessor and takes it a step further with premium titanium construction. This offers three distinct benefits:
- Significantly Lighter: In the case of the same wall thickness, the titanium body is much lighter than traditional materials. It weighs only 55% of the 304 stainless steel version, making it exceptionally portable for all your adventures.
- Never Rusting: Unlike 304 stainless steel or iron steel which can rust and corrode over time, the pure titanium construction is completely rust-proof. This ensures the Hori5 Ti can be used for many years, even in harsh conditions, without damage.
- Longer Lifespan & Unique Look: The durability of titanium ensures a longer product life. As a bonus, when heated, the titanium metal develops a charming and unique dazzling blue-purple color.
Key Features
- Overnight Heating: Enjoy 4-10 hours of continuous burning on a single fill, depending on the power setting.
- Versatile Fuel Options: Easily transform the stove to burn either wood pellets or traditional firewood.
- Built-in Oven: Cook or bake delicious meals simultaneously with the integrated oven and top cooking surface.
- Transverse Flame: A unique horizontal flame burns across the observation window, providing warmth and a beautiful ambiance.
- Safety First: Features an automatic air damper to prevent smoke backflow and a U-shaped fire channel to reduce the risk of sparks escaping the chimney.
Winter Camp Temperature Tests
Test Environment
- Tent Size: 10×10 feet
- Test Location: Colorado mountains, USA
- Temperature Conditions: Nighttime temperatures can drop below zero
Note: different environment and types of tent will affect the final heat outcome.
Temperature Difference Test Results
During actual testing, the Hori 5 pellet stove can achieve a maximum temperature difference of 20°C (36°F) between the inside and outside of a 10×10-foot tent. This means:
- Outside Temperature: Assuming the outside temperature is 0°C (32°F)
- Inside Temperature: Using the Hori 5 pellet stove, the inside temperature can rise to 20°C (68°F)
Usage Recommendations
- Fuel Type: Use high-quality wood pellets to ensure optimal heat output and burning efficiency.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation in the tent to prevent carbon monoxide buildup and maintain safety.
Important Safety Notes
1. Use pure wood pellets only, with a diameter of 6-8 mm and a length no longer than 30 mm. We recommend using softwood pellets for better performance.
If you use hardwood pellets, please do not damp down too much. Make sure the flame fills about two-thirds of the window; otherwise, the chimney may cool down and lose draft.
If you must use hardwood pellets, please test carefully before long-term use, and make sure to operate the stove with a smoke alarm and a carbon monoxide alarm installed in the area.
- After exposure to high heat, stainless steel will lose part of its corrosion resistance. To keep the stove body in good condition, please apply a light coat of WD-40 or metal protectant oil on both the interior and exterior surfaces after each use. This helps reduce surface oxidation and keeps the product performing well over time.
- After high heat, the stove pipes may become hard to connect or remove. If this happens, spray a little WD-40 or lubricating oil on the joint area. Let it sit for a while, and the pipes will come apart easily.
- Make sure the fire keeps burning steadily. If the flame goes out, smoke may flow back into the tent.
- Ensure the chimney is in good condition, without any blockage or damage. Please clean the chimney regularly after use.
- When using the pellet burner, follow the recommended minimum chimney height, which means using all the chimney pipes included with the stove. Adding extra chimney sections can further improve draft and burning efficiency.
- This stove is for outdoor use only. Please keep an eye on it while it is operating.
- Do not use materials other than wood or wood pellets as fuel.
- Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling the stove. Avoid touching metal parts while the stove is operating or shortly after use, as they may remain hot. Edges may be sharp – handle carefully.
- Place the stove on a flat and stable surface to prevent tipping or damage. Do not place heavy items on top of the stove.
- Please make sure the ashes are completely cooled down before disposing of them.
- Allow the stove to cool down fully before packing or storing.
- Using wood or pellets will produce smoke – please keep good ventilation and follow local outdoor regulations.
- Do not modify or alter any part of the stove or its accessories.
